Living in Love

A Retreat Workshop for Married Couples

Hosted By: St. Anthony Parish February 18 - 19, 2012

Couples from All parishes invited to a delightful experience designed to put the fun and romance back into marriage! This retreat workshop affirms, energizes and frees husbands and wives to live in love the way they always dreamed they would

Living in Love offers liberating insight from Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body into how differently men and women prefer to achieve intimacy and helps couples get in touch with the resources that draw them to each other and fuel their passion.

The workshop consists of a series of lively, inspirational presentations, followed by questions for reflection, private couple time and a brief communal prayer. There is no large group discussion or open sharing.

Saturday's time schedule is 8:00am - 9:00pm and includes a lovely, romantic candlelight dinner. Sunday ends by 4:00pm and includes Mass. Cost is still just $150.00 per couple.

To get more information, please call Ed & Betty Coda, authors of Passionate Parent Passionate Couple, at (808) 839-0837 or email them at codafam@aol.com. Also you can visit www.livinginlove.org to register.

Urgent Cat Problem

We are having a great cat problem and we need your help and support.

The cat population is growing and they are now sleeping in the church and leaving their mess all over the place and it is affecting our parishioners who are allergic to cats.

We are asking those who are feeding these cats to stop doing so.

In consideration to our fellow parishioners it is of the utmost importance that we take steps in controlling the cat population.

Thank you for caring about our fellow parishioners who are allergic to cats.

Adult stem cell research

The potential benefits of adult stem cell research are very considerable, since it opens up possibilities for healing chronic degenerative illnesses by repairing damaged tissue and restoring its capacity for regeneration. The improvement that such therapies promise would constitute a significant step forward in medical science, bringing fresh hope to sufferers and their families alike. For this reason, the Church naturally offers her encouragement to those who are engaged in conducting and supporting research of this kind, always with the provision that it be carried out with due regard for the integral good of the human person and the common good of society. ~Pope Benedict XVI, Address to the Participants in the “International Conference of Adult Stem Cells; Science and the Future of Man and /culture,” November 12,, 2011
