WHAT IS EUCHARISTIC ADORATION?
The Holy Eucharist is: food for the mind, nourishment for the soul, light for the intellect, strength for the will, the answer to every prayer, the answer to every problem. It is ALL there because Christ is ALL there-Body, Blood, Soul, & Divinity. Eucharistic Adoration is the deepest expression of our love to God made Man and the GREATEST FAITH OF ALL!
We are blessed to announce that October 2nd, 2008 will mark Our Lady of Good Counsel's 10th Anniversary of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (PABS). To celebrate this achievement, a 3-day celebration will be held in collaboration with the Eucharistic Apostles of The Divine Mercy Hawaii (EADM Hawaii), Oct 3-5, 2008.
Fr. Donald Calloway, Fr. Deo Rwegasira, and Maureen & Bob Digan will share their personal experiences and bring new insights to us of our Eucharistic Lord, The Divine Mercy, our Blessed Mother and Respect Life. Our prayer is for increased faith for all as we journey with our exciting speakers toward Our Eucharistic Lord.
For more information and to register, please visit EADM's website

ARE YOU A REGISTERED PARISHIONER?
If you have not received end of year tax statements, did not fill out a registration card when we did our last parish directory in 2001 or sometime in the years that followed, or do not currently receive offertory envelopes, then there is a possibility that you are not registered with our parish. Also, if you are an adult who currently lives with your registered parents, please take the time to register on your own. Remember, having received sacraments here in the past does not mean that you are automatically registered with the parish.
If you are not sure if you are registered with this parish, please fill out a registration form located on the Usher's table and return it to the office or drop the form in the collection. Please be advised that we currently require you to be a registered parishioner to receive any services (baptisms, weddings, funerals, etc.) from this parish.
BETHLEHEM CRAFTS SALE
A group will be coming to sell hand-carved olivewood articles from Bethlehem and Jerusalem on November 22/23 after all Masses. Because of the conflict in the Holy Land, many families have lost their main source of income: tourism. Providing a helping hand to the Christians is becoming a rarity in the homeland of Jesus Christ. If we do not provide assistance, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Nazareth and all of the Holy Land will be empty of our Christian faith. Churches and Holy Places will become "common market places" for the rest of the population. Please help us by purchasing any of these articles. Cash and checks are accepted.
