School supplies that are needed are: No.2 pencils, black and red pens, broad and fine point marking pens, 24 count crayons, folder paper, marble composition tablets, Elmer's glue (4 oz), scissors, rulers, back packs, 2 inch three ring binders, index dividers and glue sticks.

Thank you for helping us help those who are less fortunate and for giving the children a chance to have a successful school start.

Neocatechumenal Way Catecheses

Today we are faced with many challenges we are often unable to handle. Problems in our marriage or with our children; Financial difficulties or possible job loss; Inability to get along with our bosses, our co-workers, our parents or our classmates.

Sometimes it seems as though we are drowning in an ocean of suffering, but there is an answer for each of us and that answer is Jesus Christ.

He alone has the power to pull us out of that ocean of suffering and despair, out of the things that we just can't stand, out of the things that literally kill us.

Jesus Christ, resurrected for us, gives us the ability to deal with these crises in our lives and He alone can replace our suffering with joy!

A  team from the Neocatechumenal Way of Our Lady of Good Counsel parish will present a series of catecheses for youth and adults to help us renew our faith and find a deeper meaning to our lives.

COME AND LISTEN!

Mondays and Thursdays, Beginning August 9, 2010 7-8 PM 8th grade classroom Our Lady of Good Counsel School
